Nobody wants to be hospitalized... To make the experience more pleasant for people who need to recover from surgery, the Radboud UMC is developing the patientroom of the future! And what better way to explain this new future by experiencing it yourself with the help of a 360° animation and a VR headset.

Radboud UMC wanted to create a patientroom that is fully adjustable to your personal preferences.You can adjust the environment, but also music, sound, scent and many other aspects to reduce stress and improve your recovery after a surgical operation.

It pleases me to say these rooms are now in active development, and although I hope I never have to use one for myself, I'm glad this video helped in bringing this kind of personalized healthcare one step closer to reality.
